Bill McNally earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Missouri University of Science and Technology and a Bachelor of Science in Physics from Truman State University. Bill spent nine years in the Nuclear Division at Ameren before transitioning into their Fuels Department in 1997 where he progressed from a Transportation Executive to a Managing Executive of Coal Supply.
In 2006, Bill joined Edison Mission Energy’s Midwest Generation unit in Chicago as Director of Fuels before being promoted to Managing Director of Fuel Optimization at EME’s marketing and trading affiliate in Boson in 2009. In 2011 and 2012, Bill worked as Senior Manager of Coal Supply and Origination at TVA before opening an energy consulting firm. McNally Energy Consulting, LLC. In 2013, Bill accepted the position as Manager, Coal and Rail at Oklahoma Gas and Electric Company in Oklahoma City and was promoted to his current position, Manager of Fuels, in 2019.
Bill’s diverse experience includes all the major coal basins in the US and includes both merchant and regulated generation. He has worked in rail, barging and trucking and has managed a fleet of aluminum rotary gondolas since 2013.
Bill and his wife Cindy have three children and five+ grandchildren. They reside in Oklahoma City, Ok.
