Steve Gilligan serves as Vice President – Product Marketing – North American Truck Operations, of International Truck and Engine Corporation, the operating company of Lisle, Ill.-based Navistar International Corporation (NYSE: NAV), one of the world’s leading truck and diesel engine manufacturers.
Gilligan was originally hired in 1983 as an employee of International Harvester Corporation / Navistar Inc. where he served in a variety of sales, pricing, and marketing positions including Director, Medium Truck Marketing. From 1995 to 1996 Gilligan joined Allied Signal as Engine Enterprise Director for the Bendix Truck Brake Systems air compressor business unit at in Elyria, Ohio. In 1997 he assumed the position of General Marketing manager at Paccar’s Kenworth Division where he was responsible for product management, pricing, and marketing communications for Kenworth Truck Company.
In November 2006, Gilligan rejoined International Truck and Engine Corporation serving as Assistant General Manager – Heavy Trucks. He currently operates as Vice President, Product Marketing and Information for International’s product lines.
Steve holds a bachelor’s degree in marketing from Loras College, Dubuque Ia., an MBA from the University of Washington, and a marketing management certificate from Stanford University.
